MOLD NEEDS MOISTURE TO GROW
FLIR thermal imaging scans coupled with moisture & humidity meter readings, identify where the moisture/mold is located even if invisible to the human eye .
Moisture detection is always FREE as part of the inspection.
QUANTITIES & TYPES ARE IDENTIFIED
Outdoor air samples are taken & compared with indoor samples to determine if there is elevated airborne mold growth, and swab samples obtained to identify mold types if visible mold is present.
DETAILED SUMMARY OF INSPECTION
Reports include a comprehensive summary and detailed documentation of all findings, explanation of the laboratory results, & how to eliminate mold/moisture (a cleaning/remediation protocol), if required.
Highly detailed reports are always FREE as part of the inspection.
THE SAMPLE PAGES ADJACENT ARE AN ABBREVIATED VERSION OF AN INSPECTION REPORT FOR DEMONSTRATIVE PURPOSES ONLY.
Every inspection is executed and report composed by a Florida licensed, and experienced mold assessor, typically within 24 to 48-hours of the inspection. All reports are exceptionally detailed, transcribed from meticulous notes, photos, and readings, combined with the laboratory results, f
The inspection report includes thorough recording of interior and exterior conditions which may affect testing results, and a very detailed description of all deficiencies such as: exact location and severity of moisture stains, moisture damage, elevated moisture and/or humidity, visible mold, and testing methodologies
The inspection report also includes the evaluation and explanation of the laboratory results. If elevated mold is detected in either air or swab sampling, a summary will be included, explaining the relation of mold to moisture intrusion in the subject area(s). We also include repairs, remedies, & helpful hints to either mitigate or prevent future moisture intrusion. Additionally, if elevated m
All of our inspections are documented with photographs of our readings, observations, and testing.
Hopefully you will never need our services, but chances are if you experience any of the following, you may wish to have your indoor air quality tested ...
Mold growth may occur in as little as 48-hours after moisture intrusion ... why guess, when you can have peace of mind?
IF YOU EXPERIENCED MOISTURE INTRUSION AND INTEND TO FILE A MOLD CLAIM, YOUR INSURANCE CARRIER WILL REQUIRE AN INITIAL MOLD ASSESSMENT INSPECTION & REPORT PRIOR TO REMEDIATION AND A FOLLOW-UP CLEARANCE INSPECTION & REPORT, AFTER REMEDIATION IS COMPLETED (TO DETERMINE THE PROPERTY IS MOLD-FREE), FROM A FLORIDA LICENSED ASSESSOR.
WE DO TESTING ONLY. WE DO NOT OFFER REMEDIATION SERVICES.
IT IS A CONFLICT OF INTEREST TO CONDUCT BOTH SERVICES SIMULTANEOUSLY.
Mold testing may be covered by your homeowner's/property insurance policy in the event of moisture intrusion. Some insurance carriers will pay your testing invoice, and others may even allow the assessor to bill the insurance company directly (possibly no out-of-pocket expenses)!
WHAT IF MY INSURANCE CARRIER DOESN'T COVER IT OR I HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET? Pricing can be tricky, since it is primarily based on the size of the job and number of air and swab samples we have to take (the laboratory charges us, so, we have to charge you). We make our best efforts before we book the appointment, to quality your damages, areas of concern, room configuration, and square footage over the phone, in order to provide an estimated price range we anticipate for the job. We don't like surprises either!

As a family operated business, the owner of Enviro-Test, LLC chose to work in this industry because ... In 2005 a small airplane crashed into their own home. The firemen put out the fire and tried to save what they could, but their home and most belongings were destroyed in a mess of smoke, fire, and water damage. Since the contractors were held up for weeks, waiting on authorization from the insurance carrier, there were no immediate repairs, and mold growth occurred throughout the home (from the 100's of gallons of water and holes in the roof used in putting out the fire). The professionals who took care of rebuilding their home were amazing, however, a harsh lesson was learned in dealing with the insurance carrier. Not too many years later, the opportunity arose to work with a water/fire/mold remediation company, and they were excited in the hopes that their experiences would bring knowledge and compassion to those dealing with disasters and loss. After a number of years in remediation, the skill set and licensure easily lent itself to a higher understanding and knowledge of mold assessment.
We started in this industry in 2014.
